For over two decades, I immersed myself in the rich, historical, and deeply personal world of tea through my former business. Now, as an aspiring writer, I am drawing upon those twenty years of travel, education, and shared memories to weave new narratives and share unique stories.

Before selling the tea company I founded, I am proud to say we had become a premium tea retailer selling over 265 loose-leaf teas from around the world. We created a successful business model focused on an engaged customer base and community experiences in a public market and urban atmosphere.

The market for loose-leaf tea has been growing for many years and shows no signs of slowing down as the interest in health benefits and alternatives to coffee and soda continues to grow.

Our business success can be attributed to the fact that we knew tea intimately, chose and operated in excellent locations, offered competitive pricing, built a great team, and provided a vast selection of teas obtained through our extensive sourcing experience.

Customer rapport was developed with the consumer through tea education, our interactive sampling design wall, tasting stations, and tailoring tea and brewing techniques based on the customer's desires and lifestyle.

We accomplished growth of the business through a five-star customer service record, word of mouth, exclusive events, and local community collaborations. The business was acknowledged in local media for its vast tea selection and education, voted number 1 for the best tea selection, and recognized as a winning recipient of the Global Tea Championship competition.

My ongoing passion is bringing knowledge of tea and its vibrant history to a growing base of tea drinkers, sharing business experiences to inspire entrepreneurs, and enhancing educators' knowledge.
